Hello! My name is Liyana, and I’m really excited to begin my journey as an English tutor. Although I don’t have prior formal tutoring experience, I have a strong passion for English Language and Literature and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn. As a current student myself, I understand how challenging English can sometimes feel—whether it’s analysing texts, building essay-writing skills, or simply gaining confidence in written expression. Because of this, I aim to create lessons that are approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

My tutoring is aimed at school students who want extra support with English at KS3, GCSE, or A-level. I can help with everything from understanding set texts and improving essay structure to developing exam strategies and polishing written communication. My approach is patient and encouraging, with a focus on breaking down difficult topics into manageable, easy-to-understand steps.

I believe that tutoring should not only improve grades but also help students develop a lasting appreciation for the subject. English is such a valuable skill—both academically and in everyday life—and my goal is to help learners feel confident using it.
