I am a Muslim tutor who has gained experience working as a Legal Secretary and has over 7 years of experience across different disciplines of law.

For younger children, I use Ruth Miskin's Read, Write Inc. system, a popular phonics scheme used across UK primary schools. It is a system that I have used with my own homeschooled children who have successfully learnt to read. I utilise the Read, Write Inc colour-coded graded phonics books and flashcards to introduce sounds and blending sounds to encourage reading fluency and comprehension.

I also use resources taken from Twinkl which is a website geared towards teachers and educators, providing worksheets and other resources such as presentations, games etc.

I like to use worksheets to support learning and PowerPoint presentations where relevant. I also get the children to speak and read as much as possible to build confidence and improve their fluency.

I speak Sylheti Bengali and basic Arabic.

I will teach women and children who are interested in learning to read English or speak English.
