WWith four years of classroom experience and a strong background in the Scottish curriculum teaching BGE, National 5, National 5 Applications, Higher and Higher Applications, I provide clear, structured teaching and consistent support. I also have international experience teaching GCSE, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, and IB Mathematics, giving me a strong understanding of how to adapt my teaching to different exam boards, specifications, learning styles, and individual learner needs.

My aim is to make maths approachable, interesting, and manageable so students feel confident, capable, motivated, and fully prepared to succeed both academically and personally.

My lessons are carefully planned to be clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I use high-quality, accessible teaching materials that are thoughtfully scaffolded to support all learners, whether building confidence in core skills, closing learning gaps, or preparing for exam success.

Each session is personalised and well-structured, balancing clear explanations, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I regularly use interactive tools such as digital writing boards to create a dynamic, collaborative learning experience, allowing us to work through problems together in real time while encouraging active participation and questioning.

I am extremely passionate about supporting students to achieve their best. I believe students excel most when taught by someone patient, supportive, and responsive to their needs. I take time to listen, build trust, and work collaboratively so students develop strong mathematical skills, confidence, resilience, independence, and long-term success in Mathematics.
