My teaching and lesson style is practical, fun, and highly engaging, with a strong focus on active learning. I plan lessons that are hands-on and interactive, ensuring children are actively involved in their learning rather than passive listeners. I use a range of creative strategies, including games, discussion, music, and visual resources, to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all pupils.

I aim to create a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel confident to participate, make mistakes, and grow. Lessons are structured with clear learning objectives and high expectations, but delivered in a way that is lively, memorable, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners. I adapt lessons to ensure every child can succeed and develop a genuine love of learning. I encourage curiosity and independent thinking. I also use continuous assessment within lessons to identify gaps quickly and provide timely support or challenge. Behaviour for learning is managed positively, promoting respect, focus, and teamwork throughout all activities. I believe that strong relationships are key to success and I work hard to build trust with every child in my care.
