About me

I am an experienced psychology teacher and aim to quickly put my students at ease. Early identification of areas to develop confidence in, is our first priority. I work hard to support understanding and apply knowledge. Focus is placed on preparation for the exam but I hope tutoring sessions are also enjoyable and interactive. I am an experienced psychology teacher and aim to quickly put my students at ease. Early identification of areas to develop confidence in, is our first priority. I work hard to support understanding and apply knowledge. Focus is placed on preparation for the exam but I hope tutoring sessions are also enjoyable and interactive. After each session I set practice work, and this is assessed as part of the service I offer.

I have 13 years experience delivering AQA psychology, within a further education college. Working as an examiner has enhanced my teaching. I have also worked as a careers adviser in a university setting and I am an Associate Lecturer at The Open University. I decided to undertake private tuition, both online and in person. I genuinely enjoy tutoring and can provide positive feedback from previous students.
