I hold a Master’s degree in Education from UCL and have one year of experience supporting GCSE students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), in a London secondary school. This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of different learning styles and how to adapt lessons to meet individual needs effectively.

My lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s unique requirements. I use differentiated materials and a variety of teaching methods to make learning accessible and engaging. Whether a student struggles with certain concepts or needs to build confidence in their abilities, I ensure that the pace and content of the lessons are just right to encourage steady progress. I believe that building a supportive and positive learning environment is key, where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them.

I incorporate regular mini-quizzes and interactive activities to reinforce learning and help students retain information better. Clear, constructive feedback is an essential part of my approach, enabling students to understand their strengths and areas for improvement. My goal is not only to help students prepare effectively for exams like GCSEs but also to strengthen their core maths skills for long-term academic success.

In addition to academic support, I focus on boosting students’ confidence and motivation. I am patient, approachable, and committed to each student’s growth, adapting my lessons as they progress.
