Hi, I'm Lily!
I'm a recent university graduate and I have 1 year's experience in tutoring whilst I was studying. I tutor Psychology, which I have a first class degree in, up to A Level standard. I also tutor Spanish, which I have an A* A Level in, up to GCSE standard. My teaching style is very collaborative - I want to know which areas you need support in and will always aim to improve your confidence where you might be struggling. I am very patient and always put my students first in my lessons, ensuring that you improve your knowledge and understanding in your chosen topic. I usually spend my lessons going over content and discussing this with students in order to create a deeper understanding, allowing students to ask questions and engage with the topic. I sometimes use quizzes (not tests, don't worry!) as I find these help the information to sink in that bit better. These also help to identify areas that might need more revision. Importantly, I take a friendly and casual approach so that my students feel comfortable and not pressured to understand everything straight away. Ultimately, I am here to help my students reach their full potential through engagement and discussion.
