I take a student-led approach, my tutoring is guided by the needs and interests of the student. For instance if a student needs more support with content we can tailor sessions to work on understanding and revision tips; or if more attention is needed on writing and analysis skills I can focus on this. I am also interested in providing sessions that are as engaging as possible for students whether that be that the student is more of a visual learner or auditory.

I have experience with students of a range of ages from 14-18, mostly focusing on developing critical thinking skills and debate technique. I am passionate about continuing to develop my tutoring skills and help students develop a passion for their learning.

I would start with an introductory sessions free of charge to get to know the student, their interests and specific needs in the subject. This may involve going through some of their previous subject work and developing a learning plan for our areas of focus. This is also an opportunity for the student to get to know me and establish a good base of communication.

I am happy to take on students at any stage of their journey. I can provide taster sessions for students entering A Levels from GCSEs, support throughout year 12, and more exam focused sessions for year 13s nearing their exams. I am also available to help with university admissions including personal statement and interview preparation.
