Our first session will be dedicated to getting to know each other and figuring out the best way to approach your learning! I will go through your syllabus with you and together we can identify which areas you struggle with the most; and it’s completely okay if it’s all of them! We will also go through which methods you think will benefit you the best; whether that’s listening to me explain things in more depth, attempting practice questions, making mind maps together, or a mix!

A big part of having a successful experience with a tutor is feeling comfortable enough to voice when you don’t understand something. I know from personal experience that this can be hard to do in a classroom setting, especially when it seems like everybody else gets it instantly. This is why actually getting to know each other in the first session (as awkward as icebreakers can be) is so important. I will do everything I can to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that you can truly make the most of your learning.
