My first student was myself. The Oxford Jurisprudence course is almost 100% exam-assessed, and those exams take place within a single month at the end of third year. We only stopped covering new content three months before the exam. With twelve weeks, I had to work out how to effectively revise 9 different subjects, covering both breadth and depth. I achieved high marks in every exam, with prizes in two subjects for the highest mark in the year.

I attribute my success for my system of learning. I focused on application of knowledge as soon as possible. This meant analysing past examiner reports and specifications to work out exactly what each question was looking for, and then practising writing out answers that showcased my ability. I also broke up each subjects into smaller, more manageable chunks. This is the approach I take to tutoring. With a systematic method, we'll go through questions where you're underperforming, and focus on maximising marks. If the limitation is knowledge, we'll go through the relevant content and I'll give you active recall practice (like flashcards) to cement the information in your mind. If the limitation is technique, we'll practise answering questions until you're hitting the assessment objectives.

Students are at the core of my teaching, and my teaching is led by what you want to look at, although I may have some suggestions. We will evaluate your confidence across the specification on an ongoing basis, and any curriculum is flexible for what you would like to study. Feel free to send a message if you have any questions or queries. I teach undergraduate law, A-Level English Literature, History, and Law, and most core GCSE subjects (as well as History and Spanish).
