My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to how you learn best. I begin by identifying your current level, your goals, and any areas you find challenging, whether that is understanding core theories, improving exam performance, or developing confidence with research methods.
Sessions are typically broken into focused sections. We start with a clear explanation of key concepts, using straightforward language and real examples to make complex ideas easier to understand. From there, we apply the content through questions, discussion, and exam-style practice to reinforce understanding and build confidence. I place a strong emphasis on helping you not just memorise material, but actually understand and apply it.
My background includes an MSc in Psychological Studies (First Class Distinction) and several years of applied experience working in complex behavioural settings. In my current role as a Team Leader, I regularly translate psychological theory into practical strategies and support others in understanding and applying these approaches. This has shaped how I teach, keeping explanations grounded, structured, and relevant.
Lessons are flexible and can be adapted to suit Highers, GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate, or postgraduate study. Whether you need help with specific topics, essay writing, research methods, or exam preparation, sessions will be adjusted to match your needs and pace.
I can even help with that stubborn dissertation topic. Help you held a solid literature review and identify that gap in the literature that will take you from the average dissertation to distinction level and PhD ready!
The focus throughout is on clarity, structure, and building your confidence in psychology.
