Having gained real world experience through studying and working, I know what skills are needed to thrive as a musician.

Having studied at BIMM Institute to achieve my BMus (Hons) Degree in Popular Music Performance, finishing with Upper 2nd class honours (2:1), I would love to bring this experience to the next generation of aspiring musicians & creatives.

I have the students heart at the forefront of all that I do. Firstly, I take on board the way that the student learns, tailoring my lesson plan to them. Then, I will speak to the student - grasping an understanding of the level that the student is working at. Whether they are at a beginner or an advanced stage, I can suit my work so that they are learning in the best way for them.

Music is more than notes on a page, or classical instrumentation. I will work with the student, identifying what music they like to listen to. This makes the process of learning, more enjoyable.

You may ask why you should choose me as your music tutor. As previously mentioned, my academic work, alongside my real-world experience, has taught me a great understanding of what you need to be a musician. Whether one is viewing it as a hobby, or a profession, I would love to work with the student to explore the art, whilst teaching transferable skills - many of which, are transferable into many different environments.
