I like to begin by going through a list of topics specified to your exam board, ranking them from “unsure” to “most comfortable”. From there, we focus on the harder topics first by simplifying concepts step-by-step, breaking down methods clearly, and then applying them directly to exam-style questions. I believe understanding why something works is just as important as memorising methods.

My teaching style is very interactive and supportive. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling judged. I know subjects like maths and science can feel overwhelming at times, so I focus on building confidence alongside improving grades.
I also help students with exam technique, showing them how to structure answers, spot common mistakes, and work efficiently under timed conditions. Lessons can include worked examples, quick recap sheets, practice questions and revision strategies depending on what the student needs most.
As a current engineering student, I regularly use advanced maths and problem-solving skills in my degree, so I understand how important strong foundations are. My goal is to make learning feel less stressful and more achievable while helping students reach their academic goals.
