I focus my lessons on essay question planning, aiming to get my students to a point where they are not surprised by anything that comes up in the exam. Of course, this can only happen if a strong foundation of knowledge has been built, so before planning essays I will always go over the content with my students unit they understand the key facts and debates within each topic.
