Teaching maths online doesn’t have to be boring or stressful, and my goal is to make virtual lessons feel fun, relaxed, and engaging for my students. One of the main methods I’ll use is interactive digital tools like virtual whiteboards, maths games, and online quizzes. These let students get involved instead of just watching me talk. They can solve problems live, share answers, and even explain their thinking, which helps keep everyone focused and included.
I also plan to use game-based learning as much as possible. Turning maths into games, challenges, or friendly competitions makes lessons more exciting and helps students feel less nervous about getting answers wrong. Simple things like timed challenges can make a big difference in motivation.

To make maths feel more real and interesting, I’ll connect lessons to everyday life. Using examples from shopping, sports, social media, or games helps students see how maths actually matters outside the classroom. I’ll also use short videos, visuals, and animations to explain tricky topics in a clear and fun way.

Most importantly, I’ll focus on keeping communication open. Regular feedback will help students feel supported and comfortable asking questions. By mixing technology, creativity, and a positive attitude, I want to create a virtual maths classroom where students feel confident, engaged, and happy to learn.
