I offer friendly and supportive tutoring in both English and Maths, helping students build their knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills. My aim is to make lessons clear, engaging and suited to each student’s individual needs and level.

For English, I can support students with reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and writing. Lessons can include practice with different types of texts, developing ideas, improving sentence structure and building confidence in written work.

For Maths, I focus on helping students understand key concepts rather than simply memorising methods. I can support students with arithmetic, problem-solving, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra and other areas they may find challenging. I explain topics step by step and provide plenty of opportunities to practise and apply new skills.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel able to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling pressured. I can adapt the pace and difficulty of lessons depending on the student’s progress and focus on areas where they need the most support.

My lessons are interactive and encouraging, with clear explanations, guided practice and regular review. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, improving specific skills or simply becoming more confident, I will work with them to make steady progress towards their goals.
