My lessons are friendly, supportive, and fully tailored to each child’s needs. I teach Primary English and Maths to children aged 4–11, drawing on my experience in different nursery settings and my placement in a Reception class. This helps me understand how children learn best, especially when building early skills such as phonics, reading, writing, and number work.
Each session begins with a quick check-in to see how the child is feeling and what they’ve been learning at school. I then introduce activities that match their level—using games, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to keep learning engaging and achievable. I break down tricky concepts into simple parts and give lots of encouragement to build confidence.
I teach both in-person in Brighton and online, depending on what works best for the family. Whether we’re practising phonics, working through homework, or preparing for SATs, I make sure every lesson is calm, positive, and focused on helping the child progress at their own pace.
