My Lesson Style:

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student. I begin by understanding their current ability, strengths and areas for improvement, then use this to create lessons that are focused on their individual goals.

I take a clear and structured approach, breaking challenging topics into manageable steps and encouraging students to think independently rather than simply memorising answers. For GCSE English, I focus on essay structure, analysing texts, developing strong arguments, creative writing, reading comprehension and exam technique.

I believe confidence plays a huge role in academic success, so I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and making mistakes. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student's needs and learning preferences.

My aim is for every lesson to be engaging and productive, with students leaving feeling more confident, having developed a clearer understanding of the topic and knowing exactly how they can continue to improve.
