I can support students with homework, revision, exam preparation, reading comprehension, spelling, numeracy, and subject understanding. My preferred format for lessons is using google slides for teaching, and creating question papers/multiple choice questions when reviewing and revising content!

My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student individually. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style depending on their confidence level, learning pace, and the areas they find most challenging. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding without pressure.

I currently tutor KS1 and KS2 students in subjects including English and Maths, and I also have previous experience tutoring GCSE Psychology, English, and Science. I have a great deal of experience tutoring students with autism and ADHD, and have learnt over time how to adapt my teaching style depending on the child’s concentration and behaviours.

During lessons, I usually begin by identifying the student’s strengths and weaker areas before working through topics step-by-step using explanations, practice questions, and interactive discussion. I focus not only on improving grades, but also on helping students build confidence and become more independent learners over time, which is incredibly important for all learners!

Whilst getting great SATS and GCSEs is super important, I believe that children should build a healthy relationship with learning, and become comfortable with a particular style of revision and practice, to make it easier for them in the long run.
