I am a qualified and experienced mathematics teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in both the UK and internationally. I have taught Key Stage 3 and GCSE mathematics across a range of schools, working with students of diverse abilities, including those who require additional support and those aiming for high academic achievement. Throughout my career, I have developed strong classroom management skills and effective teaching strategies to support learning in a variety of environments. I have experience delivering well-structured lessons that focus on building understanding, developing problem-solving skills, and preparing students for examinations. In addition to classroom teaching, I have provided targeted tutoring support, including working with students preparing for GCSE exams. I have helped learners improve in key areas such as algebra, quadratic equations, factorisation, and interpreting graphs, as well as guiding them through past exam questions to build confidence and improve performance. I have also been involved in collaborative departmental planning, contributing to the development of lessons that embed reasoning and problem-solving skills across the curriculum. My experience has enabled me to adapt my teaching to meet individual learning needs and ensure that all students make progress.
