My lessons are designed to be engaging, personalised, and focused on building strong understanding and confidence in each student.

I begin by assessing the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on this, I create tailored lesson plans that suit their individual learning needs. I use a combination of clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and hands-on activities to make concepts easy to understand. Where appropriate, I include maths lab–style activities, visual aids, and videos to support different learning styles.

I also make use of worksheets and practice materials, including AI-generated resources, to reinforce learning and track progress. Regular assessments are carried out to monitor improvement and to identify any gaps in basic knowledge, which I address with targeted support.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and encouraging. I focus on helping students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. I also provide guidance on exam techniques and problem-solving strategies for older students.

Typically, my lessons last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and level of concentration. I offer tutoring for students aged 11–16 in Maths, as well as support in Science and Social Science where required.

With over three years of experience as a Primary Maths Teacher and additional experience as a private tutor, I bring a structured yet flexible approach to teaching. I also believe in maintaining good communication with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress.

Overall, my goal is to make learning enjoyable, build strong foundational knowledge, and help every student achieve their full potential.
