My lessons are specifically tailored to your needs - whether you’d like to prepare for an exam, an explanation of something that doesn’t make sense, brush up your skills or improve your confidence I am happy to help! You may prefer to go through practise questions or past papers together, focus on specific topics or follow alongside the content you’re being taught at school, this is completely up to you as I will personalise my sessions to each individual.
I have 3 years’ experience tutoring maths and science, and have always loved teaching and explaining concepts to others. Throughout sixth form I also ran a maths and physics club for younger students, which aimed to both challenge high achieving students and help those who may need clarification on some concepts, whilst also making maths and physics fun and interactive! Additionally I was a Curriculum Captain, as a part of this role I organised and ran a successful maths week: “I’m a Mathematician get me out of here!”, for the rest of the school, which hundreds of students came along to and thoroughly enjoyed. These experiences helped me understand how to make maths understandable and accessible to all ages and abilities, as well as fun!
I am now a mathematics student at the University of Bath, and have achieved a first class grade in every module so far. The excellent Mathematics department here constantly inspires me to teach in different ways and keep my tutoring sessions both engaging and effective.
I offer online sessions and am flexible with timings, I look forward to hearing from you!
