I enjoy making learning fun! From a background in the early years i have always encouraged a classroom ethos of learning through play. Early years is all about looking for those learning opportunities that lend themselves to us. As i have grown within my career, i enjoy making games and humour out of lessons, in order to encourage memorable learning experiences. Now that i tutor adults, i am much more inclined to think of new and inventive ways to teach such as a game of charades to aid a communication learning objective.
I intend to deliver strong English lessons using a multimedia including; videos, pictures, books, games and online resources. I have found by using a variety of media it allows learning not only to become much more enjoyable but also allows for extra progress to be made.
If you have a preferred way of learning - i am all ears! Lets teach and learn your way! I am happy to follow criteria of learning outcomes of what you would like to be achieved, after all this is your learning experience too!
I am a fun, friendly and easy to get along with person which consistently shines through within my lesson plans. I enjoy creating strong bonds with my students and will always ensure their wellbeing is my number one priority. I am always searching for new inventive ways to teach and would love any feedback that you could provide in order to make my practice even better.
