My teaching style is collaborative. I will break down the concepts step by step with the student to fully engage in the material. I prefer to work through the concept with the student in order to pin point any weaknesses in their learning and come up with strategies for maximum engagement and retention! Lessons will be conducted remotely with the use of Microsoft Teams and screen sharing. In order to tailor the lessons individually, please send me a copy of the syllabus for the module and any other relevant materials you’d like to cover in the lesson. In each lesson, I will break up the time using the pomodoro technique. We will have 15 minutes of engagement with the subject material, followed by a 5 minute break. Using this technique is proven to be the most effective way to understand and retain a concept.
