I consider myself a high achiever, obtaining a 2:1 at university in Law, a distinction in my Masters, ABB at A-level and 11 A*-C GCSEs. I consider myself the kind of student who has always had to work to get to where I need to be, I have never been naturally intelligent. I would like to replicate this importance in my teaching, because I think it is essential to recognise that it doesn’t come naturally to all but rather the select few.
