I am currently in Year 13 studying Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths A-levels with predicted grades of 4 A-stars. I am planning to do a physics masters degree after secondary school. I have experience interacting with a range of people through my role as Head Girl at my sixth form and practice teaching from past mentoring programmes within school. Also, I can work with younger children well if that’s what your looking for having over 2 years experience babysitting.
I am happy to work through practice questions and homework or go over and explain new topics from scratch. Whether you want to boost your lower grades or achieve the very top marks, I’m happy to help.
I always aim to make your learning transferable, providing a genuine understanding so that you can not only apply it in the context I’ve taught but independently, for example in exams. If your completing qualifications like A-level or GSCE I use the specifications to ensure we are covering the exact content needed. When going through practice questions I value an interactive style of tutoring and will work with you to an answer not just talk at you. Similarly, I aim to cater tutoring to your personal style of learning and do so in your own time. Learning can be fun, although I understand for some students it becomes stressful so I am conscious and considerate of this and hope to actively rebuild a positive idea of learning.
