I'm a fully qualified Science teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at GCSE level. I hold a PGCE and QTS, along with a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s degree in Animal Welfare and Conservation.
Currently, I work full-time as an online Science teacher for a private education company, and I’m now offering additional tutoring sessions on weekday evenings and throughout the summer holidays.
My teaching is interactive, engaging, and tailored to each individual learner. I use a wide range of techniques – from real-life examples to questioning strategies – to help students grasp key concepts and apply them with confidence. Every session is paced to suit the student, whether they need extra support or a challenge.
I also have extensive experience supporting students with SEND, including ADHD, ASD, and various medical needs, and I’m passionate about creating a calm, supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
If your child needs help building confidence, preparing for exams, or simply wants to enjoy learning Science, I’d love to support them on their journey.
