I teach with a student-centred approach in mind, making the lessons relevant to the student and their language skills, their learning abilities and English language aims.

I am passionate about helping my students achieve more than they thought possible, and delight in their success. I design and facilitate engaging and interactive lessons, using genuine language through different types of lesson materials. We can practise the four main language skills of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, including grammar, vocabulary and language communication skills.
I practise continuous assessment of students' skills and language requirements.

I have been teaching English as a second language since 2002 in England and Europe, with over twelve years' teaching experience. I have taught both juniors and adults, in one-to-ones and groups, from elementary to proficient, I have a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) Grade A.

I have taught General English and Examination Preparation classes for the Certificate in Proficiency in English (CPE); the Cambridge Business English Certificates (BEC) Higher, Vantage and Preliminary; the OET (Occupational English Test); the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); the First Certificate in English (FCE); the Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) and the Test of English for International Communication (TOIEC).
