A little bit about me , um pouquinho sobre mim:

I’m originally from São Paulo, but I’ve been living in the UK for the past three years while finishing my degree as an international student. I’m a cat lover and space enthusiast who enjoys baking in my free time — usually with some good tunes playing!

I first got into teaching in 2019, during the pandemic, when I began offering English lessons to Brazilian students. That experience sparked a true passion for education and gave me plenty of hands-on experience with online teaching.

Later on, I began offering private in-person sessions, working with a diverse range of students — from adults and small groups to teenagers. These experiences helped me develop a dynamic, adaptable approach to different learning styles and contexts.

Living abroad made me realise how much I love sharing the richness of Portuguese — from everyday expressions to culture and the stories behind the words — with learners from all backgrounds.

Since then, I’ve been specialising in teaching Portuguese as a foreign language, and I’m always looking for ways to refine my teaching style and classroom techniques to best support each learner’s individual goals.

As your tutor, I’m here to create a supportive space where you feel confident, encouraged, and genuinely excited to learn!
