I have university lecturing experience in Accounting and Finance, teaching subjects from introductory accounting to Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Audit and Assurance, Corporate Finance and Taxation. I have also delivered workshops for accounting and audit staff at different professional levels, covering a range of accounting, auditing and financial reporting topics.

My teaching approach is clear, patient and practical. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s level, knowledge and goals, and encourage students to ask questions and discuss areas they find difficult. Rather than focusing only on memorising information, I aim to help learners understand the concepts and how they are applied.

Lessons are based on clear explanations, worked examples, questions, case studies and practical accounting situations. We can work through questions together, identify areas that need more attention and gradually develop your confidence in applying what you have learned.

Lessons are available online or in person, depending on your preference. We can focus on a particular topic, prepare for an exam, work through exam-style questions, or follow a broader programme to build your accounting knowledge step by step.

My professional experience in accountancy and auditing also allows me to bring relevant examples from practice into lessons. Whether you are learning accounting for the first time or studying more advanced topics, I will aim to make the lessons understandable, useful and suited to your individual needs.
