Lailah Drysdale

My name’s Lailah. I am a Sixth former in Year 12 doing Maths, Psychology and Art aswell as AS Core maths. I got 7’s and 8’s in my GCSE’s.

Maths has always been hard for me and getting an 8 in maths was a huge achievement. It showed me that I was capable of achieving anything I want to. I’d love to be able to pass that knowledge onto you guys and teach you all the tips and tricks I know so you too can achieve great things.

As for the dynamics of my lessons:
- We will get to know each other, what topics you struggle with most and what you’re like as a person. Then we will mainly focus on exam questions to get you used to what it’s like and to allow you to become confident no matter the situation. I like to give visuals when teaching maths and sometimes multiple methods to answer certain questions so that you can chose which method you prefer.
- Lessons will take place after school between 5-8pm on either Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. These will happen on Zoom or WhatsApp. I will obviously be working around my own studies and schedule and so confirmation for lessons will come 24 hours before. I will also update the days I am available weekly.
