My tutoring sessions are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I begin with an introductory meeting where we discuss strengths, areas for improvement, target grades, upcoming exams, and what the student hopes to achieve. This helps me identify whether support is needed with understanding core content, applying knowledge through exam questions, or a balance of both (which is most common).

From this, I create a personalised revision plan that focuses on both subject knowledge and exam technique. Sessions are structured yet flexible, adapting to the student’s pace and learning style. I use active recall, guided examples, and exam-style questions to build confidence and ensure strong understanding. I also place emphasis on recognising and correcting common mistakes so progress is consistent and measurable.

I regularly check in with students to review progress and ensure they feel supported. If needed, I will also arrange a mid-point review session to reflect on what has been working well and what could be improved, allowing us to adjust the approach where necessary.

My tutoring style is supportive, patient, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is to help each student not only improve their grades but also develop confidence and independence in their studies.

I continually adapt lessons based on feedback and progress, ensuring each session remains focused, effective, and aligned with the student’s evolving needs while maintaining clear communication with both students and parents where possible.
