Laigene Cuering

I’m Lai, a passionate and experienced teacher with 7 years of teaching abroad and over 6 years specializing in ESL. I’ve taught a wide range of learners, especially young children aged 6–12, in both classroom and private settings. Currently working in an IB PYP environment, I use inquiry-based and student-centered approaches to make learning meaningful and engaging. I value patience, creativity, and clear communication, and I support each child in building confidence through interactive lessons, games, storytelling, and real-life English use. My teaching reflects a balance of structure and warmth, helping students feel safe, curious, and excited to learn.
