I will teach using questions where I will provide steps onto how to understand a certain question such as factorising a harder quadratic. Then,I will give my student a question to try where they will explain to me each step and how they got the answer to see if they understand the topic.I will then go through exam questions with my student and teach them exam methods. The homework I will provide will be exam questions or exam papers.I was a self-employed private tutor last year where I helped a year 11 go from a grade 3 to a grade 6 in her GCSE Maths exam, where she managed to get a place in her sixth form.I also am an academic mentor at my school, where I help Year 11s achieve a pass in their exams through discipline and exam questions.I am more suitable to teach students that are entered for the higher tier, where I am confident in teaching topics such as index laws, box plots, completing the square, etc.I will be able to offer sessions in Summer 2026 for just £13 and hour. All of my lessons will take place online as the lessons can be taken place at any flexible time.I am really hard working and view tutoring as a rewarding experience,as seeing students understand a topic makes me feel very proud. In some cases,I am able to offer lessons on AS (first year of A-Level) Pure mathematics where I can help students build a great understanding on topics such as the discrimination, logarithms, polynomial division, sketching cubic graphs, trigonometric identifies, etc.
