My lessons are calm, structured, and focused on building real understanding and confidence. I teach KS4 Physics and KS3 Science and Maths, supporting students of all abilities, including those who feel stuck, anxious, or unsure where to begin.

Each lesson follows a clear format. We start by reviewing prior knowledge to identify gaps and misconceptions. I then introduce new concepts step by step, using clear explanations, simple language, and relevant examples so ideas feel manageable rather than overwhelming. I regularly check understanding through questions and guided practice, adjusting the pace to suit the student. Lessons usually end with exam-style or skills-based questions to help students apply what they’ve learned confidently.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, so I create a positive, pressure-free environment. I focus strongly on problem-solving skills and exam technique, showing students how to break down questions, interpret command words, and structure their answers effectively.

I have strong subject knowledge and experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, particularly in Physics. I am confident in addressing common difficulties and explaining abstract ideas in a clear, logical way. I tailor every lesson to the individual student’s needs and goals, whether that’s improving grades, building confidence, or strengthening foundations.

Above all, my aim is to help students feel capable, motivated, and in control of their learning, so they can approach science and maths with confidence and succeed independently.
