Ksenia Zagvozdina

As a current Ph.D. student pursuing a degree in Earth Sciences, I am an experienced teacher in Applied Mathematics with a focus on teaching private science classes. My approach involves utilizing authentic and existing curricula for various age groups, including moderating and teaching STEM subjects in English.

During my tenure as a Teaching Assistant at the Higher School of Economics, I supported various technical courses in English, including Numerical Methods, Complex Calculations Programming, and Data Analysis. My achievements include creating a set of homeworks integrated into the NM course program and receiving a seminar evaluation averaging 4.6/5 from over 60 students.

In addition to my teaching background, as a result of my Master's research, I have written an academic paper ( and achieved impressive scores on IELTS (7.5) and GRE Quantitative Reasoning (168/170).

My education includes a MA in Supercomputer Modeling and a BA in Applied Mathematics. I possess strong skills in Numerical Methods, Mathematical Modeling, Python, C++, MATLAB, Wolfram Mathematica, and R.
