I use technology like Google Meet to ensure we can both see the screen with multiple fun adaptations that make learning engaging so it will be remembered.
I also do a daily review at the start of class, as well as a talking point, so we can practice speaking about social and cultural events. I enjoy using technology to ensure my students can see visual images, short videos, and even GIFs and memes to best describe the content of the lesson. This makes a pleasant mix of features: verbal, written, and aural.
There are in-class activities to be done, as well as optional homework, and feedback and review at the end of the lesson are always given. Student generally enjoy these classes because they are structured to go by quickly and also have a reasonable amount of learning, without being overwhelming. The classes are balanced to include reading, speaking, writing, and some general, informal conversation. Additionally, there are multiple images and visual aids to assist in learning, and this helps the learner recall the lesson at a later date or for review.
For companies or larger groups, the format remains the same, but can be customized to create an entirely bespoke experience.
Overall, there has been much success with this method, and the conversations are enjoyable and beneficial for the learner. My students all agree that this is an interactive and fun way to learn, and guarantees the information to stick, so they can adopt skills faster and more efficiently.
