I have been delivering online lessons for few years now, throughout the pandemic, and they are really successful. It gives me and my tutees more flexibility without loosing personal touch.
I have plenty of resources ready for each lesson, which is always shaped to suit each student. I can write on my screen, so I can show how the methods work step by step during the lesson, we can discuss it try it and make sure all is understood perfectly before moving to the next topic.
I am flexible about the content. Once I know what the student is doing during the lesson, I can focus on those topics, or, I can prepare the revision lesson about the topic indicated by the student.
