I provide tailored, engaging, and supportive one-hour 1:1 sessions designed to meet your academic goals — whether you're aiming for top marks, preparing university applications, or tackling a dissertation. I offer flexible tutoring hours, such as weekends and evenings, to accommodate busy academic and professional lives.
Each lesson is structured to build your confidence, critical thinking, and subject mastery. Our first session will focus on understanding your goals and creating a personalised study plan. Future sessions will build on this foundation, ensuring consistent progress and measurable outcomes.
I hold a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences (cum laude) from University College Maastricht, an MPhil in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Criminology from the University of Cambridge, and a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (Distinction). I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
My academic journey has been funded by competitive scholarships (including the UCM Scholarship, the Manuel López-Rey Studentship, as well as the Cambridge Trust International and Newnham College Scholarship). Furthermore, I’ve published several peer-reviewed articles in reputable academic journals using both quantitative and qualitative methods — so I can confidently support you with university applications, academic writing, research design, and data analysis.
As part of my current role at Manchester Metropolitan University, I have led seminars for undergraduate students in Sociology and Criminology and supervised Master’s dissertations in Public Administration. During my time at the University of Cambridge, I supervised undergraduate students and lectured across summer schools, bridging programmes, and outreach programmes. I have further been invited as a guest lecturer by University College Maastricht (UCM) in 2023 and in 2024. My teaching has covered social science research methods, criminology, developmental psychology, international human rights law, and children’s rights—reflecting my interdisciplinary expertise and commitment to accessible, high-quality education.
I’ve worked with GCSE/ A-level students aspiring to apply to Oxbridge, Social Science and Psychology offer-holders transitioning from A-levels to the University of Cambridge, as well as with undergraduate and postgraduate students. I’m passionate about helping learners thrive at every stage of their academic journey.
