Olá! I'm Klara, and I would like to tell you a bit about what our lessons together would actually look like.

First, the format. Every lesson is one-to-one and online, usually between 45 and 60 minutes. There's no rigid textbook we have to follow page by page, instead, I build each lesson around you: your level, your goals, and what you actually enjoy talking about. If you're learning Portuguese for travel, we'll practise the conversations you'll really have. If it's for work, we'll focus on the vocabulary and confidence you need in professional settings. And if you're here for social sciences — anthropology, sociology, feminist theory — we'll work through the concepts together until they feel clear rather than intimidating.

The dynamic is simple: we talk. A lot. I believe the best learning happens through dialogue, not memorisation. You'll speak from the very first lesson, make mistakes freely, and I'll correct you gently and explain the "why" behind each correction. Over time, you'll notice yourself becoming more fluent and more confident without even realising how much you've absorbed.

I've been teaching for over three years now, both online and at university level, where I currently teach undergraduate and master's students while completing my PhD in Social Science. So whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to refine what you already know, I'm comfortable adapting to where you are.

My inspiration as a teacher is Paulo Freire, who believed learning should be a conversation between equals, not a lecture. That's exactly how I run my classes: relaxed, collaborative, and built around your curiosity.
