Hi all,
I am experienced in teaching young students maths to prepare for their revision and upcoming exams, I have tutored for 15 months now and helped 30+ students achieve higher than their predicted grades with a 100% success rate (all grades 6-9). Hopefully, I can make learning interactive, and for the most part enjoyable for my students as I know exam periods are a stressful time. I understand all students require a different style of 1-2-1 teaching that’s why I offer a range of learning techniques for each pupil to see what suits them best. This would include listening, writing and verbal learning to help gauge which is best suited to specific students. Most lessons are about 1-2 hours long as I do not want to apply too much pressure on top of school and home work, however, if the lessons are longer than 2 hours I will have mini breaks to make sure I do not throw too much information in a short time period. The typical lesson structure usually begins with a brief discussion of what the pupil has been learning, and what we will be covering for the designated lesson. I can teach all aspects of key stage 2&3 mathematics with complete competence as I achieved level 6 in key stage 2 and an 8 in my GCSE’s. I hope this short presentation has been informative enough for you to put your trust in me as I will give all of my time and energy to ensure all of my students pass with sky high grades.
