Kisaa Zahra

Hi there! I'm Kisaa, and I teach English writing, reading, and language skills to students of all ages, from young learners building foundational spelling and grammar to teens and adults working on essay writing, literature analysis, and exam preparation.

My lessons are one-on-one and fully online, structured around each student's specific goals rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum. We always begin with a short trial class so I can understand exactly where a student stands and what they need most, whether that's phonics and sentence structure for younger learners or argument structure and critical analysis for older students.

From there, I build custom materials tailored to that student: worksheets, guided writing prompts, story-building exercises, grammar practice, and exam-style tasks when preparing for tests like B1-level English exams. Lessons stay interactive and encouraging, with plenty of room to ask questions and work through mistakes without pressure. Younger students get colorful, engaging activities designed to keep them motivated, while older students get discussion-based sessions focused on structuring ideas clearly and confidently. After every lesson, I send a short feedback note covering what we worked on and what to focus on next.

I hold an MPhil in English Linguistics, with research experience in corpus linguistics, sentiment analysis, and Critical Discourse Analysis, including published academic work. I also design curricula and teach at an AI education camp, which shapes how I plan lessons: methodically, with clear progression rather than random practice.
