I like to have lively lessons that are fun. I’ll use PowerPoints and have as much interaction as possible so I know you understand the lesson and are meeting the lesson objectives.

I used to hate boring lessons in school so I try my best to make sure nothing is boring. I will always try my best to plan things that are fun and current whilst giving you the option to have a voice in topics and what resources I use.

For example, if you are someone who enjoys gothic literature I’ll incorporate that into the resources I pick for your lessons.

Learning is much more successful when you are enjoying yourself and look forward to the sessions. You will retain more information and have better chances of achieving if you are happy and settled so I will endeavour to make sure that I can offer that environment.

After meeting with you and going through some initial discussions and assessments I will put together a provision map for you that will illustrate exactly what we are going to be covering, and when, and what your targets will be. We will reassess how this is going dynamically as we progress. I have never had any students fail with me and we have always found a solution to any problem.
