I like to tailor my sessions to meet the needs and learning styles of my students. I believe it is important to make activities fun, interactive and engaging to achieve a successful session in terms of enjoyment and learning progress/retention.
My style is relatively informal and flexible while retaining a discipline to cover the content we have agreed at the outset.
I place high emphasis on learning through doing - which might be through use of equipment, real life scenarios and examples to add context or swapping roles "now you teach me what you've learned today".
Above all, I aim to take the stress out of learning, so that students can develop, thrive and gain confidence in their abilities.
