I offer online, student-lead GCSE maths sessions, to help them gain a full understanding of the content, with a focus on the topics they find to be the greatest challenge. Lessons will also include plenty of exam questions, and opportunities for the student to request more in depth sessions on topics they have particular difficulty with. I am also able to offer lessons in GCSE Further Maths, having gained grade 9s in both subjects during the 2023 exam series. I am flexible with time, and offer affordable sessions putting the student first. Sessions will be lead by the student, allowing them to dictate what they need the most, and giving lots of time to practice exactly what they will be doing when their exams come around. As a first year university student, it wasn’t long since I was in the student’s position, giving me a unique perspective and ability to understand what they are feeling and what they need. This will allow me to prepare them very well for their GCSEs, but also to put them into the best position going into the next stage of their life, especially if they hope to study maths at A-level. Whilst my grades at both GCSE and A-level (A* in maths) reflect my ability to tutor your student to a high level, my experience working with younger students as a mentor during sixth form will allow me to connect with them and build a relationship in which they feel excited and ready to learn.
