About Me
I’m an experienced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) tutor with over 200 hours of Level 5 TEFL training, including a specialism in teaching young learners. I also have a background in Psychology, which influences my approach to teaching. I focus not only on developing language skills, but also on building confidence and supporting each student’s individual learning style and emotional needs.
Experience
I have taught in Hong Kong and Italy as both an ESL and Native English Teacher, working with children, teenagers, and adults from a variety of backgrounds. These international teaching experiences have helped me adapt to different educational settings and cultural contexts. I have supported learners across all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students, including those preparing for exams such as IELTS or Cambridge English.
Teaching Style
My lessons are student-centered, practical, and engaging. I integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing into every session, with a strong focus on real-world communication. For young learners, I use interactive activities like games, songs, and storytelling to make learning fun and memorable. For older students and adults, I include conversation practice, grammar explanations, vocabulary development, and writing tasks relevant to personal, academic, or professional goals.
With a foundation in Psychology, I understand the challenges language learners face and adapt my lessons to meet their pace and personality. I create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to make real progress in English.
