My lessons are structured, personalised, and results-driven, with a strong focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorise methods. I teach Mathematics and Physics primarily at Edexcel IGCSE and International A Level, and I adapt every lesson to suit the student’s current level, learning speed, and goals — whether that’s mastering the syllabus from the ground up or sharpening exam technique close to the exams.

Each lesson follows a clear and effective format. We usually begin with a short recap or diagnostic discussion to identify strengths, gaps, or areas that need reinforcement. I then introduce or revisit concepts step-by-step, using clear explanations, visual reasoning, and real exam-style examples. Complex ideas are broken down into simple, logical steps so students can see not just what to do, but why they are doing it. I strongly encourage students to ask questions at any point and actively participate, as this builds confidence and deeper understanding.

Practice is a key part of my teaching. Once a concept is understood, we apply it through carefully selected questions — starting from simpler problems and progressing to full past-paper exam questions. I guide students through problem-solving strategies, common examiner traps, and efficient methods that save time in exams. For students preparing for assessments, I place heavy emphasis on past-paper practice, mark schemes, and how to structure answers to maximise marks.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and adaptable. I have experience teaching students of varying abilities, including those who struggle with confidence, language barriers, or foundational gaps. I’m able to adjust explanations instantly if something isn’t clear and present the same idea in multiple ways until it clicks. I believe no student is “bad” at Maths or Physics — they just haven’t been taught in a way that suits them yet.

I have several years of tutoring experience and have taught students both locally and internationally across different curricula. Many of my students have gone on to achieve A and A* grades, even when starting with low confidence or weak fundamentals. I also support students with homework, coursework understanding, revision planning, and exam stress management, ensuring they feel supported beyond just the lesson itself.

Overall, my lessons are engaging, focused, and efficient. Students leave each session with clearer understanding, stronger problem-solving skills, and a growing confidence in their ability. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent exam results, but also to help them develop logical thinking and independence that will benefit them long after their exams are over.
