Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and a PGCE teaching qualification.

I support learners studying BTEC Engineering, T Levels, apprenticeships and higher education engineering courses. I also welcome beginners, hobbyists and adults who want to develop practical electronics skills or understand the principles behind their projects.

My lessons combine clear explanations with worked examples, guided practice and practical activities. We begin by identifying your current knowledge, the topics you find challenging and what you want to achieve. I then adapt the pace and content to suit your needs.

Topics I can help with include electrical principles, circuit calculations, analogue and digital electronics, electronic measurement and testing, Arduino programming, sensors, microcontroller systems, and PCB design using Altium Designer. We can work through concepts such as Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, programming logic, component selection, schematic capture and PCB layout.

Depending on the subject, lessons may include circuit simulations, coding exercises, troubleshooting tasks or demonstrations using electronic components. My aim is to help you understand why a solution works and develop the confidence to solve similar problems independently.

For students preparing for assessments, I provide revision support, practice questions and feedback on their understanding. I guide learners to develop their own work and explain their reasoning clearly.

I can also provide introductory training for companies in electronics, microcontrollers and PCB design, with content tailored to the participants’ experience and training objectives.
