My science lessons are designed to be interactive, structured, and engaging. I typically start with a short recap or starter activity to connect prior learning with the new topic. This is followed by a clear explanation of key concepts, often supported by visuals, demonstrations, or real-world examples to make the content relatable and easier to understand.
I use a mix of teaching strategies, including questioning, group work, and practical activities, to keep students actively involved. For more complex topics, I break information down into manageable steps and encourage discussion to deepen understanding. Assessments are integrated throughout the lesson—through quick quizzes, verbal checks, or short written tasks—to ensure progress and address misconceptions.
My lessons cover the full science curriculum, with a strong emphasis on biology, drawing on my degree in Biomedical Science. I aim to make science exciting by linking theory to everyday life and careers, helping students see its relevance beyond the classroom.
With experience gained during my training and current teaching role, I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves. My goal is for every lesson to be dynamic, supportive, and inspiring.
