I like to use a wide variety of formatting for my lessons. I pride myself in making personalized lessons, custom to each learner's needs. I usually like when the learner expresses what they need help with, and how they best acquire information. I have worked with a variety of learning styles from visual to hands-on, all of which have been customized to each learner. For the lesson dynamics, I am very much an advocate of the "go with the flow" approach. I find this approach helps learners embrace more of a natural language output, and can help them uncover possible errors to further discuss a soloution. That being said, I am very open to adapting if a learner would appreciate a more ridgid learning structure- such as being given home exercises to work on, or a more traditional classroom approach. I have experience teaching both English as a second language and as a foreign language mostly for adults, nontraditional students, and special needs learners. I am able to give lessons in Spanish (if needed) and English. I prefer to give lessons in person for a more hands-on teaching approach, but I am flexible in an online teaching environment, as I know it can be a lot easier in most cases. Most importantly I strive to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning environment no matter your background or proficiency in the English language. I understand how difficult and sometimes overwhelming learning a new language can be, and that is where my passion for giving my lessons come from. I'm always here to help and looking forward to meeting you!
